Kanye West sued by Photographer for allegedly Using Photo without Permission

Photographer Michaela Efford has filed a lawsuit against rapper Kanye West, alleging that he used one of her photos without permission. According to legal documents, Efford claims that West shared her photo on his Instagram to mock fashion writer and Vogue contributing editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson after she criticized West for featuring models and himself wearing a T-shirt with the slogan  'White Lives Matter.'

Face-Swapping App is being sued for ‘Exploiting’ the Images of Celebrities

Reface, a mobile application with over 250 million users that superimposes users' faces onto footage of celebrities, is currently facing a lawsuit alleging commercial exploitation of famous individuals' images. The lawsuit has been filed as a proposed class action by Kyland Young, a finalist from the reality TV show Big Brother. Young accuses Reface of the unauthorized use of his image and that of numerous actors, musicians, and athletes.

Vecteezy, a major stock image provider, has launched a reverse image search feature powered by artificial intelligence (AI). This feature allows users to find licensable media in Vecteezy's vast stock library that matches their uploaded image. Similar to Google Images, Vecteezy's AI Reverse Image Search analyzes images beyond their appearance to identify content and context, ensuring the effectiveness of the system.

How a Photographer won Awards with plagiarized Images

Italian photographer Davide Francese entered the WPE Awards and submitted multiple photographs, but it was discovered that at least nine of them were sourced from external origins. One of these images, originally taken by photographer Alex Kolloskov, secured him third place in the Commercial Category. This seems to be not the first time Francese has won a competition using someone else's photo.
